1 Commonly Asked Questions
1.1 Is pickup in store your only option for retail purchases?

We are a small shop that does not offer shipping services for our online products at this time. If you find a bicycle or part and we are the only shop that has it, please call us and we can arrange packing and shipping for you at an additional price. You can also email [email protected] for any inquiries about our products. 

1.2 Does Dallas Bike Works rent bicycles?

We are not currently renting bicycles.

1.3 Does Dallas Bike Works buy used bicycles?

We do not purchase used bicycles for cash. However we do offer trade in value towards the purchase of a new bike in certain circumstances. To determine the market value of your used bike we recommend Bicycle Blue Book,  www.bicyclebluebook.com

 

1.4 Can I park in your parking lot and ride around White Rock?

Absolutely! We encourage cyclists and runners to utilize our convenient parking lot to enjoy recreational activities around White Rock Lake.

1.6 Does Dallas Bike Works repair and service e-bikes?

We absolutely service e-bikes for all of the brands we carry. In addition, we will work on e-bikes from other brands as long as they have a traditional style bicycle seat post. We are capable of servicing Class 1, 2, and 3 e-bikes. We do not service aftermarket converted e-bikes or brands which are unsafe or prone to electrical issues.  

E-bike parts and inner tubes can be brand specific or of non-traditional sizes that we do not always carry. Please call in advance if you are in need of an e-bike innertube. We will be happy to assess your bike for free to determine any manufacturer parts you may need.
