Dallas Bike Works was started by owner Boyd Wallace in 2006 at it's original location on Skillman and Abrams. In 2010 the shop moved to it's current location, the famous (or infamous) old PT's building on Lawther and Northwest Highway. Boyd and his wife Whitney manage the day to day operations behind the counter as well as four full time mechanics and two sales associates, making this a true family owned, independent bike shop. In 2023 Pull Through Coffee opened inside the bike shop. Pull Through offers a full coffee menu, specialty drinks, and pastries Wednesday through Sunday. Since Pull Through opened, Dallas Bike Works has become a community hub for runners and riders alike. Owned and operated by noted barista and avid cyclist Christina James, Pull Through serves Cultivar coffee as well a treats from locally owned bakeries. You can visit Pull Through inside the shop as well as at the walk up bar and patio outside.
